After the birth of our first son, I left behind a journalism career and started teaching others how to enjoy and share their family memories through scrapbook albums. We connected our stories and hearts over messy scrapbook tables laden with paper, stickers and photos. Later, we’d use computers, too.
Today, as a certified Personal Photo Organizer, I still encourage people to focus on these acts of emotional wellness.
But in the past several years, I’ve widened my focus to include more aspects of holistic health, from nutrition, movement, and sleep, to stress management and mindfulness. I am a health coach, trained and certified through Duke Integrative Medicine.
Through coaching, I help people give attention to many areas of their health, so that they can better steward the body, mind, and spirit that God created. We partner together to help you create habits that stick, so that you can work toward your optimal health.
Through my communications, from blog posts to social media, I hope to educate and encourage you. I’m on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. And you also can subscribe to my monthly letters and periodic updates via email.
So what’s your biggest health challenge right now? And what do you want your life and health to look like in 5 years or even 1 year? Click here to send me a note. I read every one and look forward to getting to know you.
