A welcome note from Amy:
Thanks for stopping by to learn more and consider working with me.
From as early as I can recall, I aspired to be a writer and a photographer. And my first career was as a reporter for several daily newspapers in the southeastern United States.
But when our family started growing, I traded in the late deadlines and bustling newsroom. I started freelance writing and also began teaching others how to enjoy and share their family memories through scrapbook albums.
My friends, clients, and I connected our stories and hearts over messy scrapbook tables laden with paper, stickers and photos. And later, we’d use computers, too.
I loved my business and the people I met through it. And I still enjoy spending some of my free time working with photos. Capturing stories and memories through photo albums and scrapbooks are acts of emotional well-being.
But as a health and well-being coach, I’ve widened my professional focus to include many other aspects of health.
I am a Duke-certified health coach, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and also credentialed through the International Coach Federation. I also have completed additional training in brain health and cognition, mindfulness-based stress reduction, the Enneagram, conscious facilitation, and expressive writing.
My aim – whether through coaching, consulting, or writing – is to offer grace and space for a healthier you. If you think you might be interested in working with me, you can learn more here about coaching and contact me for a free discovery call. And I invite you to subscribe to my free e-letter, the Well Check.
I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to connecting with you.
With grace and space for a healthier you,
Amy
