A welcome note from Amy:
Thanks for stopping by to learn more and possibly consider working with me.
From as early as I can recall, I aspired to be a writer and a photographer. And my first career was as a reporter for several daily newspapers in the southeastern United States.
But when our first son came along, I traded in those late deadlines and bustling newsroom. I started freelance writing and also began teaching others how to enjoy and share their family memories through scrapbook albums.
My friends, clients, and I connected our stories and hearts over messy scrapbook tables laden with paper, stickers and photos. And later, we’d use computers, too.
I loved my business and the people I met through it. And I still enjoy spending some of my free time working with photos. I also continue to encourage people to focus on these acts of emotional well-being through the limited services I offer as a professional Photo Organizer.
But, as life and times change, more recently I widened my professional focus to include many aspects of health and well-being, from sleep and stress management, to nutrition and physical activity, and more.
I am a Duke-certified health coach and since 2018 have been a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). I also have completed additional training in brain health and cognition, mindfulness-based stress reduction, the Enneagram, conscious facilitation, and expressive writing.
My aim – whether through coaching, consulting, or writing – is to offer grace and space for a healthier you. If you think you might be interested in working with me, you can learn more here about coaching and contact me for a free discovery call. And I invite you to subscribe to my free e-letter, the Well Check.
I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to connecting with you.
With grace and space for a healthier you,
Amy
